Argus Systems Group's PitBull LX provides powerful, award-winning security for today's most critical application environments. Its unique, patent-pending Secure Application Environment (SAE) technology protects against software security flaws by isolating applications into separate security compartments. Pitbull offers multi-level security for Concurrent systems. Security rules may be applied at the process, file and network interface levels. Multiple domains can be created, converting a single server into a system supporting hundreds of "virtual machines," each with its own SAE supporting secure applications and secure services. PitBull LX offers operating system kernel-level security that ensures no user, either authorized or unauthorized, can launch any process that circumvents the security mechanisms, including the root user. The solution delivers robust security with the added business benefit of significantly lowered customer costs by improving server utilization and lowering administrative overhead.
