RELEASE LEVEL: RedHawk Linux 4.2 (32 bit only)

EXPLANATION: The system will hang after shutdown with "reboot" command.

Example output (i686 kernels only):

Synchronizing SCSI cache for disk sda:

Restarting system.

Above is after a complete shutdown, so the shutdown is clean; however,

the system will not continue and restart.

RESOLUTION:

RedHawk 4.2.1 32 bit kernels fix the problem by forcing Dell 490s to use the "bios reboot method".

For RedHawk 4.2 the workaround is to manually power cycle the system.
